Move Brasil Motorcycle Financing: Is It Worth It?

Move Brasil promises a brand new motorcycle with low interest rates for delivery workers. Discover the truth about the financing and the contract pitfalls.

The Illusion of a Brand New Bike in the Daily Grind

Move Brasil was not created to save freelance delivery workers, but to create bosses.

When the government's official announcement appeared on cell phone screens promising low interest to get a brand new bike, many people thought life on the road was finally going to change. The promise sounds too good: interest rates around 1% per month, a grace period to start paying, and 100% of the value financed on paper.

But you only need to look closely at the traffic at dealerships and workshop counters to understand the trick. Those who have some money saved or an organized MEI structure are using the program to take out two, three, or four bikes under their name. These people will put younger guys out on the road, passing on the daily rental cost.

Meanwhile, the delivery worker living on the edge of the daily target takes on the debt under their individual ID (CPF), assumes dealership maintenance costs, and discovers that the bank's friendly financing charges far too high a price when heavy rain hits or the app cuts per-kilometer rates.

Who Can Really Get the Keys in Hand?

Do you think you just show up at the bank with your driver's license and ride away? That's not quite how things work with Move Brasil. The screening begins even before you step foot in the dealership.

If you drive for an app, the system will require at least 6 months of active registration and proof of at least 100 completed deliveries or rides on the platform. It's no use having an account open and set aside. The bank wants to see real income activity from the street.

For those formally employed at a company as a motorcycle courier or motorcycle taxi driver under formal contract (CLT), the rule requires at least 6 months of formal employment at the same firm. Taxi drivers, on the other hand, need to present an updated municipal traffic permit.

And there is another detail that stops many at the gate: you need an account on the Gov.br system at Silver or Gold levels to validate your data. If your credit score is clear and the bank's credit analysis approves, you can only take out a single vehicle per tax ID (CPF).

Approved Motorcycles: What's In and What's Out

Move Brasil's rule is very clear about the models that can be billed: only brand-new motorcycles manufactured in Brazil with flex-fuel engines up to 165cc or electrics up to 7,500 watts.

On the combustion engine side, the sales champions are all there: Honda CG 160 Cargo, Fan, Titan, NXR 160 Bros, and Biz 125. In the Yamaha lineup, the Factor 150, Factor DX, Fazer FZ15, and the sturdy Crosser 150 S and Z are included.

For electrics, the list includes options like the Shineray SE1 and SE2, Watts W125, Yamaha Neos, and urban models from Vammo and Voltz. These are vehicles designed strictly for city commuting, without big ambitions of hitting the highway on the weekend.

Many riders ask about larger models or new releases. Engines above 165cc are excluded. If you are looking for something larger to face weekend trips beyond the daily grind, see our Honda CB 300F Twister 2026 review to understand where higher-displacement bikes begin in the domestic market. Sports releases or imported high-displacement scooters, such as the Dafra ADXTG 300, are also not eligible for Move Brasil because they exceed the engine capacity and price limits.
